1800Flowers.com Vice President, Creative/Photography Services

September 2011 – December 2019

 

Responsible for all multi-channel strategic/creative marketing and photography output for 1800Flowers.com Consumer Floral brand. Member of Brand Leadership team, driving and executing short/long term company strategies for all mobile, desktop, retail, digital, B2B, social, experiential, conversational commerce and print efforts.

 

Madison Brands Vice President, Creative Services 

(Plow & Hearth, HearthSong, Magic Cabin, Wind & Weather)

June 2008 – August 2011 (A division of 1-800Flowers.com)

 

Print and Web creative and marketing oversight for 4 home furnishings and accessories brands: Plow & Hearth, Wind & Weather; Kid's toys/games brands: HearthSong & Magic Cabin.

 

L.L. Bean Creative Director, Photography

April 2005 – May 2008

 

Responsibilities included management, creative direction and execution of all photography, catalog production for 7 L.L. Bean branded catalogs, totaling 60+ unique titles and 100 mm+ circulation annually.


Oversight of Photography Operations department including teams of Photo Producers, Photo Art Directors and support staff.


Management of departmental budget in excess of $7 million dollars.

 

 L.L. Bean Director, Retail Marketing

January 2003 – April 2005

 

Developed integrated marketing initiatives, including retail marketing plans, agency creative,
promotional events and media plans, resulting in 2 consecutive years of unprecedented success.
Guided in-store retail communications development including graphics, signage and 
visual merchandising presentations.
Managed direction of L.L. Bean Outdoor Discovery Schools, guiding over 13,000 people annually through outdoor courses, trips and tours.

Oversaw new/existing store design and retrofits/expansion initiatives in U.S., Japan.

 

Pier 1 Imports Creative Director

1992 – 1999

 

Led all creative marketing efforts including introduction of TV advertising, resulting in 26 months of double-digit comp store increases.
